It is something so basic, yet for some people so complex. We just can’t get enough water down during the day, possibly because soda is the most popular beverage in the United States. Here are some reasons that the most basic thing in the world is so darn good for you. Some may even surprise you.

A large majority of the time that you are hungry, you actually just may be thirsty. Drinking water may help you lose a few pounds because it can help you feel fuller throughout the day. Craving a snack? Chug a water bottle first.
